big carnage on the fromme gap. tough to get the speed on that one -- when the collie first appeared in the movie i thought a credit/name was gonna pop up on the screen, but then Tom's name appeared, and i thought for a sec Tom was the dogs name.

actually...there really isnt a lot of evidence showing that armour is effective in protecting you from major inury in a wipeout. It may save some scrapes in the minor wipeouts, but generally it's false security against breaking bones. Overall i think it tends to build false confidence when you ride or hit something big - and a false sense of confidence is - to me anyway - worse than having no armour.
